Remarks 1.(i) The zoo should have prepare and get the Master Plan approved by the CZA. (ii) The zoo should have an approved collection plan. 2.(i) The enclosure housing Giant squirrel should be modified. (ii) Appropriate bilingual signages should be displayed in all the enclosures. (iii) The enclosure housing White bellied sea eagle should be shifted to a suitable location. 3.(i) The zoo staff in work involved in upkeep and healthcare of zoo animals should be screened against zoonotic diseases annually. (ii) The keeper’s dairy, animal history cards, treatment cards etc. are to be maintained as per the proforma prescribed by the Central Zoo Authority. 4.(i) The operation theatre should be modified and to be made functional. (ii) The existing quarantine facility to be modified and strengthened. (iii) The posts of one lab assistant and one stockman should be created. 5.Ramp facilities to the toilets and some of the important enclosures should be made available for the physically challenged persons. 6.The zoo should acquire mates for single animals (Jaguar, Hyena, Elephant, Rhino, Stump tailed monkey, Adjutant storks, Scavanger vulture, Cockatoos, Pheasants, Great horned owl, Ostrich etc.) on priory basis. 7.There are 50 numbers of Spotted deer, the number should be reduced immediately by adopting appropriate population control measures.
